                      Travel Policy


​​RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS: Reservations can be made by phone on a first come basis. On one day trips the full trip cost is due within 5 days of your verbal reservation. Complete the “Reservation Form” available on the trip brochure or our web site and send it with your full payment, check or money order to North Ridge Tours. On multi-day trips, a $100.00 deposit with your “Reservation Form” is due to guarantee your reservation. The balance is due in full no later than 6 weeks prior to the trip's departure. Late final payments can result in your seating being moved to the rear of the coach.


CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: A full refund will be granted if the cancellation is made 1 month (30 days) prior to the trip departure and provided that North Ridge Tours has not incurred expenses on your behalf which can not be refunded to us by a third party. We reserve the right to deduct such third party expenses from your refund. NO SHOWS and Cancellations made within 7 days of a trip will result in NO REFUND. On multi-day trips canceled less than 4 weeks prior to trip departure, a $50.00 fee for cancellation plus any third party expenses will be deducted from your refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days from trip departure will receive NO REFUND. It is better for you to get a replacement for yourself and handle the monies with that person. Cancellations for medical reasons require a doctor or hospital written notification within 7 days.


SEATING: Seating is assigned from front to back by the order in which your deposit is received. Should you and your traveling partner(s) want a seat near the rear of the coach, please indicate so. We will make every attempt to satisfy your request. On multi-day trips, seating will be rotated on a daily basis by your escort by moving two rows forward and crossing the aisle, front then moving to the rear of the coach.


DEPARTURES: Tour departures and times will be arranged at the convenience of your group and based upon the trips destination. Individuals will be notified by post card of the departure location and time two weeks prior to the trip departure. Please try to be at least 15 minutes early. Group Leaders are responsible to notify their group members of the departure location and time.


GRATUITIES: The tipping of hotel/restaurant staff and guides are part of the trip cost and not necessary. Should you wish to show your appreciation to your driver for a job well done, you may do so on a voluntary basis. This practice is customary.


RESPONSIBILITIES: North Ridge Tours, its agents and/or their solicitors act as agents in arranging for transportation, sightseeing, accommodations and all other services, and do not assume any liability for injury, damage, accident or delay due to any act or default of any company or person engaged in rendering a service for North Ridge Tours. We reserve the right to change an itinerary with equal or superior services.


IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTATION: All United States citizens visiting Canada and Mexico must possess a valid U.S. passport that must be carried on your person when re-entering the United States. Non citizens of the United States must carry a current passport, visa and traveling papers of their country of origin to insure entry into our country of destination and to be able to return into the United States. North Ridge Tours personal will ask to see your passport and will deny access to travel to passengers not having the proper passport or passport card at the departure location. NO REFUND will be available to that passenger should they not be able to travel due to improper immigration documentation.


BAGGAGE: A handling fee for one piece of luggage per person is part of your tour cost. A luggage tag will be supplied to each passenger. It is your responsibility to place this tag on your luggage that is transported beneath the motor coach. All other baggage is the responsibility of each passenger. North Ridge Tours takes special effort to insure that your baggage is handled as carefully as possible. We can not assume liability or accept claims for loss, theft or damage to your luggage.


CASINO BONUSES: Casino bonuses change on a regular basis. These changes are not the responsibility of North Ridge Tours. They are an incentive of the respective casinos and are not part of our price.


CLOTHING: We suggest that you wear informal relaxing attire that includes comfortable walking shoes, a sweater or jacket and light rain gear when applicable. You will be informed when more formal attire is required.


SMOKING: North Ridge Tours operates non-smoking tours. We plan frequent stops for meals, rest and sightseeing in order to accommodate our smoking travelers. D.O.T. regulations prohibit smoking in any part of the motor coach, including rest room.


SPECIAL LODGING & MEAL REQUESTS: Should you have a medical condition requiring special menus, room features or coach boarding assistance, please note this information on your initial reservation form. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs. We can not guarantee they will be supplied by non North Ridge Tours staff. Special boarding coaches require more expensive equipment & added costs.


PRICING: The prices listed in this booklet are for a minimum of 40 passengers per trip and based upon quotations received from our suppliers in December 2014 and are subject to change. Because of our inability to forecast fuel price increases, we reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly. We will make every effort to keep these increases to a minimum. We appreciate your understanding.


VEHICLE PARKING: Please note that North Ridge Tours and/or the property owners used to park our travelers vehicles assume no responsibility for the safety of your vehicle while parked at the various departure locations. We recommend that you have someone drop you off at your departure location when traveling.
